Membership is $20 for the calendar year. This always causes confusion as people think they have joined us for the 12 months following payment. What we mean is that whether you join/renew in January or July, your membership expires on December 31st of the current year. A volunteer will take your payment (cash, check or credit-card) at the front desk along with a new or updated membership form. Members should use the scanner/LOG-IN computer when entering the building. The screen asks you to select your planned activities for the day. Why? Staff uses the attendance counts for each activity in a number of ways. With limited space, decisions must be made about which programs to discontinue. Additionally, some of our grant funding is dependent on accurate counts. Ticking the box equates to voting... "I like and participate in these activities."
